So I figure I would share my go-to play list when I'm kicking it in my room or hanging out in a non-dance party environment. I guess kind of like fratmusic.com, but a little better music in my opinion. Feel free to recommend tracks or comment on it. These are in no specific order fyi.
If you click on each song, it will take you to either a YouTube video or Hype Machine site so you can check out the song if you haven't heard it.
For anyone out there who loves the Blue Scholars/Common Market, here's their DJ. Check out his stuff and their music. This is thanks to crossfader.com
Also, check out him at the Red Bull Sound Off National Competition in Seattle. He took first place by the way. Brainstorm goes first, then Sabzi breaks out his beat. Enjoy

I don't want people to be sympathetic at all, I just want people to understand. I'm not looking for pity points at all, and I hope you don't think that. Just more of to put a thought in your head; don't take what you have for granite, because it sucks when you don't have it anymore. That's what happened to me, and I kind of lost sight of what was important vs. what isn't, and it definitely came back to haunt me.
Here's to "National Golf Day," for those of you who actually know what that means.
How do you go from 6-0 to 8-8? I know, you go 2-8 the second half of the season. How is that possible? That puts us in the same league as the Rams and Raiders, probably the worst teams in football. This organization is definitely on the downfall, especially after McDaniel's brilliant plan to bench Brandon Marshall, arguably our best player. Last year we really had nothing to work with, kind of. We had no defense and that is awesome how McDaniels came in and changed that completely around, giving us the NFL's sack leader, Elvis Dummervil, but why would you ever bench Brandon Marshall.
Who else can make a catch like that? Maybe 5 other receivers in the NFL, but that's a maybe. I'll be surprised if Marshall stays, and if McDaniel makes it a third year without a playoff appearance in 2010-2011. It's a rough time to be a Denver fan.
Its a little late, but I thought I would do it anyways. Wale's new album, Attention Deficit, is definitely something to check out. I never listened to Wale all that much, I was more stuck on Lupe and Jay-Z at the time when I really started to get into hip-hop just a few years ago. This album was introduced to me at my buddy's house and I heard "90210" for the first time, I knew I would love the album. There are a lot of different artists featured on the track like Pharrell (every one loves him), Gucci Mane, K'Naan, and of course, Lady Gaga in the song "Chillin'." Definitely something to listen through at least once to just get a feel for it. Wale can definitely flow and his lyrics are also something to pay attention to. He isn't a typical rapper, just rambling about whatever comes into their head. My go to track other than 90210 is Mirrors feat. Bun B, it has a catchy beat, seems a little faster than it actually is. Check it out.
I saw that everyone had one of these so I wanted to join in on the fun. Stop by to check out the random things I will post on here and witty comments I will make about them.
